Many of you know Brandon Hiller from either playing volleyball with him or having him officiate your volleyball matches. Brandon is not only part of the VooDoo Athletics family as someone that refs for us, but he is a good friend as well. On Saturday, May 2nd, Brandon had a life changing injury that for now has left him in a surgical intensive care unit at Metro Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
As you all probably feel the same way, it is extremely difficult to sit idly by and do nothing while a friend lies in a hospital bed. It's time to do something and what we can to help our friend. I am asking anyone and everyone who finds themself reading this letter to please join VooDoo Athletics and myself to raise money in order to ease the financial burden on both Brandon and his family.
If you are not a volleyball player, but would like to volunteer for this event, please email us at voodooathletics@yahoo.com. Please understand we may not respond immediately, but we will try to include anyone that wants to help as best we can.
**If you are unable to attend the June 13th event, or if you would like to make a donation, an account has been set up nationally through KEYBANK. Simply go to any KEYBANK location and tell them that you want to donate to the "VooDoo Athletics - Benefit for Brandon" account. They will take care of the rest for you. If you live outside of Ohio, please let whomever helps you that the account is set up in Ohio. **
